Name:
Kaye Lee Dimascus
Age:
16
Gender:
Female
School year:
Sophmore
Appearance:
Kaye is from French decent, so she is rather petite. Her hair is naturally a dirty blonde, but she dyed it a dark, chocolate brown. It usually has a few flurries of turquoise in it. She has a rather nice, ski jump nose that is dusted with a few stray freckles. Her eyes, which are green, are set a good distance apart, giving her a look of intelligence. She always complains, though, that they are huge. Rather like a doe that has darted in front of a large SUV. Her figure is very slight. She doesn't have too many curves, and her hipbones are very prominent. She is often called 'Twiggy'-- a nickname given to her (with love) from friends.

Likes/Dislikes:
Kaye is a big fan of musicals. Ever since she was young, the girl would always sing along to her favorites-- 'Annie'; 'Oliver Twist'; and 'Guys and Dolls'. You will often find her dancing down vacant hallways singing from these musicals. She tries her hardest to pursue a law degree like her father wants, but music is really her thing.
Another hobby of Kaye's if photography. She has always wanted to become a painter, but soon after realizing she couldn't draw worth a damn, she took up photography. Nature is her favorite subject. She is also often found on school grounds, snapping pictures in her free time.
Other intrests of Kaye would be... Ice cream, dancing, silly boys, makeup, kisses in the rain, road trips, horse back riding, and swimming.
As for Kaye's dislikes, there are... Unintelligent people, people who think they /are/ intelligent, and silly boys. Ha-ha, yes, you see, the 'silly boys' thing goes both ways. Can't live with them, can't live without them. :3
Also, Kaye can NOT stand being alone. She hates it. It really scares her-- not having anyone to turn to in dark hours. She dealt with that feeling for far, far too long when her mother died. Although she was attached to her father, she and her mother were very close, so she was heart broken when the woman wasn't present in her life. Simply heart broken...
One /last/ thing that Kaye hates is the unknown. She is known for being fairly wise, and enjoys being informed about things. The facts that /aren't/ known are what kill her. Thinking about infinite space, or the creation of life... it just gives her the willies. Yes, the willies. x)
It's the fact that none of these things are proven and logical that gets her riled. Kaye could talk and/or debate for HOURS about unproven subjects, ranting about them, proving her case. She loves it. But... she does NOT want to go to law school. ((read likes))
Personality:
Kaye is an overall interesting person. Definitely one girl you aren't likely to forget. She can dress crazy, talk loud, and sing while everyone is watching, just to see what they'll say. Although fun loving and random, Kaye has a rather... nasty side. She can be overly-sarcastic, and a tad mean. Her ego often gets in her way, along with her own insecurities. She is quick to love, and slow to recover.
History:
As a child, Kaye was a rather shy girl. She never spoke much, and was VERY attatched to her father. Her mother became ill when Kaye was a mere seven years of age, so she went through most of her life without a maternal figure. This didn't bother her-- she wasn't so intrested in silly girl games as a child. She much prefered going out to play in the mud, building forts, and riding the pony that she had gotten for her sixth birthday.
When Kaye reached middle school, she was a social butterfly. Her father was a rather rough-and-tumble kind of guy, never showing too much affection. That was what caused her to be less attached to him over time. Neither of them were bothered by the lack of relationship, for Kaye was busy with school plays, and her father with work.
By the time Kaye was in eighth grade, her father had made up his mind-- she would be sent to a bording school came time from ninth grade. Kaye was not to happy about this, and became even more upset when she had to change bording schools after her freshman year.
Other:
-If there are any, Kaye would be more than happy to take place in school plays. I figured this might be a cool thing to do. Maybe a good plot device. :3
-Also, Kaye will be a new student. She had been attending a different bording school up until now. Mmkay?
Role-play sample:
After putting her things away in the little space that her dorm provided, Kaye decided that she should explore the school a bit. Get to know where things were. Just in case, she brought her camera. This was for good photo opportunities. Along with acting, photography was the only thing Kaye /really/ loved. So, the lovely girl ventured out into the hall, staring fixedly at the camera screen.
Inwardly, she wondered if there were any good places to take pictures around this rather… drab school. She lived on vibrant colors; anything that would give your eyes a wake up call. Hence the lime green flurries in her hair. The colors of this school were boring. To be quite honest, the grayish walls and tacky linoleum floors were quite suffocating.
Shuffling quickly over to a window, Kaye observed the school grounds. They were... quite similar to the hallways of the school. Plain. Although there were a few nice trees that she could get pictures of. Kaye craned her neck to see more, but was unsuccessful.
"Oh well,"
This came out as a sigh as Kaye peeled herself away from the window and kept on walking.
