Brent's steel gray eyes focused on the hurdles that were placed on the track...
He decided he would try them out even though he had never done track before, Why not?
He moved his hand up to his hair pushing it out of his eyes as he rested his hands on his hips for a brief moment before bending over to tie the laces of his black and red Nike Shox, he then glanced down to his black Nike shorts as he pulled his cell phone out of the pocket to read the time...
It was almost 3 O'clock he didn't have anywhere to be at the moment so he had decided on heading to the track for just a couple of laps...besides he would need it coming up pretty soon the Hilton Bay Highs Football season was coming to a end and they would be playing in the championships so Brent needed to get some running in,
he slid his white shirt up over his head leaving him in just his wife beater as he tossed his shirt over towards the bench, not making it but oh well he was close enough...
3..2...1 Brent counted down before taking off, in a sprint as he neared the first hurdle...

The silver eyed girl looked out at the field. She'd been sitting there for sometime and only now saw the boy. The wind softly playing with her long silver hair blew it into her face. Coving it. She sighde softly and took the tie off her wrist and put her hair up. No longer letting the wind have much fun.
Her eyes followed the boy not yet saying anything. Just kinda wishing he'd go away. He was making noise. She shook her head simply and looked down at her notebook once more. Shed been drawing. Somthing she did a lot. She was good, but didnt show anyone her owne work. She didnt want them to see for the most part. Her drawing was her way to show feelings. around people she was numb and/or mono-tone.
She had on a light blue'dark blue hoody that was to big for her. Her hands hiding in the sleves. The hood itself was down. At the neck line you could tell she had a black shrit on under it. She had on woren out blue jeans that where just a little big but still fit well. Her feet had normale, colorless sandles. But they where off right now. She didnt like things on her feet. She sat cross legs on the bench. |

Brent jumped...
clearing the first hurdle with ease as he ran a little bit further only to jump over another, and then another following that one...
after clearing the last one Brent had quite awhile to run before coming up to some other hurdles as he continued on running, His steel gray eyes fixed ahead, he was now sweating slightly.

'damn jock' she thought to herself. 'Itd be fster if I jest left' She shook her head simply. She picked up her notebook and slid it into her measanger style black book back. She looked back to the filde before getting up and putting her book back on. Her feet stayed on the warm ground for a momint before she slipd her sandles back on and made her way down the stands to the exit.

Brent's focus the turned towards the girl making her way down the stands, He smiled a little...
Dang he was starting to form a crowd already?
He then let his focus return to the track as he neared a few more hurdles he didnt see how these track people did it, He would just stick to football and basketball...as he leaped clearing the first of the four hurdles as he continued on running leaping over another one.

She looked over at him simply. She shook her head as her bangs hid her eyes now. She stood on the eage of the track. Track season whouldnt start untill close to the end of the year. And like always, she'd be on it. She didnt care for the hurdles herelf so she mostly didnt run them. She looked up at the sky simply and sighed shacking her head.

Brent couldnt jump over anymore hurdles...
it was draining him, making him more tired than he already was...
He just ran around the hurdles dodging them as he continued on running glancing back over to the girl briefly before watching ahead as he passed the mark...
he was now on his second lap.

She shook her head. Looking at him once more she head for the exit. Leaving it. She didnt want to be around others, even if it was just one person.

Brent slowed down to a light jog as he noticed that the girl had left, He raised an eyebrow...
Usually Brent made girls want to come, not leave...This was a first for him, He moved his hand up pushing his hair out of his eyes oncemore as sweat rolled down his brow he moved his hand up wiping his forehead free of any sweat as he then walked up the bleachers, and crossed over towards the bathrooms to get to the water fountain for a sip of water.

Mathias walked in, and sat down, looked around. It felt awkward...new school, new life, hopefully new freinds. He slipped on his gym shoes, and jogged in place for a few minutes. He jogged to the start line"...race...?"

Brent then headed back down towards the track as he spotted another guy already down there...
Oh come on, He wanted girls to show up! Not guys...
He sighed as he moved his hand up to wipe away more sweat as he then walked down to the track..
"Hey" Brent said, with a slight nod.
"Sup?"

Brent barely shook his hand, dropping his hand back down to his side.
"Cool, Im Brent" Brent said, as he glanced the guy over briefly..
"Race? Sure...be prepared to lose though" Brent said, even though the statement would seem like one that was meant to be taken as a joke...It wasnt.
Brent bent over to tie his laces up real good, before beginning to stretch a little as well.

Brent sprinted off right after Matt, he was about right next to him...
Brent wanted to make it seem that he was a little behind so that Matt would speed up and get tired quicker so then he could pick up his pace and...well,beat him!
He laughed softly to himself this kid wasnt fast at all...
His steel gray eyes kept on ahead of him.

he knew he wasnt fast, he looked back, and smirked, he knew Brent was up to somthing, but he had sumthing up his own sleeve.

Brent picked his pace up a tiny bit just enough to pass Matt up a little bit, so that if by chance some girls showed up at that very moment they would see that Brent had Matt beat...
His sweat continued to fall down his face, he moved his hand up real fast to wipe away a tear that was about to fall into his eye...that could of messed him up.
